Professor Hirotomo Nishihara, the inventor of the next-generation carbon material ‘Graphene MesoSponge® (GMS)’ being developed by 3DC, has been awarded the prestigious Academic Award from The Carbon Society of Japan. The award was presented during the 50th Annual Meeting of The Carbon Society of Japan, held from November 29 to December 1, 2023.

The award recognizes his research on ‘Porous Materials with Single-graphene walls’.

3DC will continue to collaborate with Professor Nishihara in advancing research and development towards the practical application of GMS.
